My wife and I were passing through West Covina a few weeks back when we passed by a place called Bun Street, so we pulled right in! This place is all about burgers, fries, and tater tots and since that's basically all we think about, it seemed like Bun Street was going to be the place for us. After staring at the menu and struggling to decide, we ended up just splitting an order of onion rings, an order of Buffalo Chicken fries (which is half french fries and half tater tots), as well as a "Stinkin' Bun Burger" which is a burger with onion rings, garlic cheese, grilled onions, lettuce, and garlic aioli. Onion Rings- These things were large, well battered, and covered in a tasty sauce. Buffalo Chicken Fries- This plate was absolutely massive and stacked to the brim with french fries, tater tots, and chicken. Every single thing on this plate tasted so good! Stinkin Bun Burger- I was a big fan of this burger even though I regret getitng one with onion rings on it. My wife and I split this in half and enjoyed it very much. Overall, Bun Street was a homerun of an experience and definitely a reason to visit West Covina. Not sure I'll be out this way anytime soon, but if I am this place is definitely the lunch spot for me!

We placed an order through doordash and the order came on time and nicely packaged. I really like the little happy face the staff drew on the bag. One of the items I ordered was the Lechon with half fries and half tator tots. The portion is perfect for 2 people and the flavors blended together very well. This was my first time trying this place and it was great!

Was in the mood for a non fast food quality burger. I read the reviews for Bun Street and thought I would give it a try. My experience was positive and if I could would give it 4.5 stars. First the service. The server was very friendly and attentive throughout my time there. Being my first time there, she provided me ample time to read the menu, while obtaining my drink order. Once I decided on my burger, BBQ Western Burger...I wanted a different cheese (Cheddar) other than what was listed on the menu. She was very accommodating and was happy to make the substitution. I also ordered tater tots...a change from just fries. I have to say that the food arrived pretty quickly, which made me concerned that the burger may have been pre-made. My mind changed when I had my first bite. The burger was hot and juicy, the vegetables were fresh and crisp, the bun soft, but still firm enough to support the contents of the burger. The onion rings were of the beer batter style. While OK, I'm partial to the breaded type. I think they would have worked better consistency wise. Overall the burger was plentiful, and good tasting. I'll be back. The tots were plentiful, hot and lightly salted. They were crunchy on the outside but still soft and flavorful on the inside. The venue is located inside a large strip mall, just east of the mall. There is a small bar inside and well as some limited outdoor seating. The inside has two seating areas. The bar area is a little small, but the adjacent seating areas, while not huge, has adequate seating. The value is above average for what you get. With today's prices, value is important.

Starting off this is probably one of the best burgers I've had it awhile. There's plenty of parking here and it's tucked away in a strip mall. The place inside is very casual, chill with some TVs and sports playing. They have some outdoor seating too. Luis was amazing and really guided us through the menu explaining what was some of their popular dishes. We ended up getting some fresh sweet potato fries and 2 burgers. The Stinkin bun and the Smash burger split in half, which made it great for sharing. They were really amazing to the taste and It's probably one of the best burgers I've had in awhile. The Stinkin bun was surprisingly yummy with the onion, onions rings and garlic sauce. Usually I don't order something like this, but I feel like the flavors were subtle enough to be make it decluous and unique. The smash burger was really good too. This is one of those places where you wanna come back and try some more of their menu.

Awesome food awesome service! Tried the Smash burger and Stinkin burger. The sweet tater fries were also fresh and delicious. Although both were incredibly tasty, I did bite into something hard my initial bite into BOTH burgers unfortunately :( Not sure what it was but glad it didn't deter me from eating the rest of the burger. Nonetheless would come again!

This was one of the first meals of 2025! Was seriously craving a gourmet burger with a thick bun and it did not disappoint. It's tucked away in downtown West Covina, across from the Edwards movie theaters. There are plenty of parking in the lot and street parking too. Arrived around 7:30pm on a Sunday and was sat immediately. Ambiance is chill and casual as they have plenty of tvs for all you sports fanatics. We ordered the El diablo and the western burger. Both were delicious. In addition, we ordered parmesan garlic herb fries, but ended up getting half fries and half tots! If our waiter didn't tell us, we wouldn't have known... so thank you! He was also kind enough to bring out an abundance of sauces for us to try and they were all so fire. They also have a hot sauce wall for all you hot sauce lovers.

Bun Street is tasty and satisfying. I ordered the Stinkin' Bun Burger ($13). This large hamburger dripped with garlic flavor. In addition, I got free sweet potato fries with this Specialty Burger; the Lunch Special (available 11am - 3pm, weekdays) adds a free side with any Specialty Burger. That's a lot of food. Yum! I arrived on a weekday (11:20am), and I was sat immediately. I ordered the Lunch Special (Stinkin' Bun Burger and Sweet Potato Fries). Customers flooded the location near 12:00pm. Service is welcoming and quick. My server (Rhea) was friendly and helpful. My meal arrived in seven minutes. Quick! The Stinkin' Bun Burger and Sweet Potato Fries is a lot of food! The total was only $13. The Stinkin' Bun Burger is a tall burger. Its primary flavor is creamy garlic. The meat (although freshly prepared) is the least memorable. However, the burger is delicious if you love garlic and comforting textures. The bun is soft; the onion ring is crisp; the lettuce is thin; the grilled onions are tender; and the cheese and garlic aioli sauce is wet. Overall, it's a delicious mishmash of flavors. I love fresh garlic, so I genuinely enjoyed this meal. The accompanying sweet potato fries are freshly cooked. They're crisp, fluffy, and sweet. However, the sweet potato fries are unevenly salted. As you dig deeper into the fries, there's a heavy amount of salt below. Very salty fries. Bun Street had good ambiance. The location is very clean, large, and well-ventilated. Nostalgic 80s rock music played on the speaker. I recommend using a card (there is no extra fee) for the bill. The location appeared unprepared with cash paying customers since they needed extra time to fetch coins for change. Overall, Bun Street serves satisfying and filling food! The Lunch Special is not available on Saturday and Sunday; therefore, go on a weekday for the best value! I recommend. 4.5/5

This place is such a hidden gem! We aren't from around this area and were looking for a burger spot when we found this place on Yelp. The outside is very unassuming and there weren't that many people in for a Sunday night. Every single staff member was super friendly, helpful, and very attentive. The service was excellent! We shared the lechon fries and each got a burger. Everything was delicious. And they have the pebble ice!! Would definitely be back if I'm in the area again!

One of my go to places for a good burger. If you are in the West Covina area, must try. This visit, my husband opted for a build your own burger (hawaiian bread, angus patty, pineapple, mushrooms, onion ring, and teriyaki sauce) and I had the smash burger and tater tots. Didn't disappoint. The tots were nice and crispy and we had it with the garlic aioli sauce and bun sauce. Give them a try if you are in the area!
